WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
SPC PRO is a range of stand-alone indoor intrusion detectors which employ the one-of-a-kind DEA Sensor Fusion (DSF) technology to protect doors, windows, walls and glass surfaces against break-in attempts.
WHERE IS IT EMPLOYED?
Depending on the model, SPC PRO detectors are employed on doors, windows, skylights, glass surfaces and different types of walls, including masonry and armoured concrete walls.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
SPC PRO seismic and shock detectors perceive the impacts and the vibrations generated by attempts of forcing, breaking through or drilling the protected structure. They employ two different sensitive elements: a PIEZO transducer and a MEMS accelerometer. The signals received by each transducer are fused and processed using intelligent adaptive algorithms: such algorithms enhance the key benefits of both of the technologies to assure the maximum reliability in any application.
WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?
The system is composed of five detectors: two for doors and windows (each of them available in a version with and without magnetic contact), two for walls and one for glass surfaces. Being stand-alone, the four detectors do not need any separate processing board and can be directly interfaced with any control panel.
THE MOST IMPORTANT ADVANTAGE
The DSF dual-tech technology – available in the detectors protecting doors, windows and walls – does represent the most important DEA Security’s innovation, the one which projects SPC PRO among the state-of-the-art intrusion detection systems.
As a matter of fact, relying on two distinct signal sources fused and processed by intelligent algorithms allow the new sensors to adapt to different applications and to operate in an unparralleled way.

KEY BENEFITS
DEA Sensor Fusion technology
The new DSF technology developed by DEA Security combines, in a single seismic sensor, all of the benefits of a traditional Piezoelectric transducer with the advantages of a MEMS accelerometer. The outcome is a detector capable of the highest performance.
Smart analysis
The powerful CPU integrated in the detectors is able to execute sophisticated algorithms to discriminate the different attacks against the protected structure: burglary (low attacks), break (gross attacks), breaking through (single heavy attacks) and continuous vibrations (cutting or drilling with electric tools).
High-performance digital filters
All of the SPC PRO detector models employ a DSP microcontroller for the digital processing of the signals and high-performance filters.
No positioning constraint
All of the SPC PRO detectors can be installed in any plane and orientation, providing the maximum installation flexibility.
THE DETECTORS
SN-SPCP-FDR1(M) FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS
SN-SPCP-FDR1M shock detector protects doors, windows, skylights and relevant glass surfaces against burglary, breaking through, drilling and opening. It employs tamper devices to signal removal, opening and magnetic masking attempts of the sensor. A model without magnet (part number SN-SPCP-FDR1) is also available.
Calibration and configuration of the detector are easily performed via a dedicated app for iOS and Android. By app it is possible to select one of the three default calibrations according to EN 50131-2-8 (window, wood and concrete) or to fine-tune the parameters related to the single attack modes (burglary, breaking through and cutting/drilling) or the sensor operation.
Key benefits
- Calibration and configuration via Wi-Fi mobile app
- Magnetic contact with anti-masking technology (FDR1M version)
- Tamper device detecting the case opening and the magnetic tamper events

SN-SPCP-FDR2(M) FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS
SN-SPCP-FDR2M shock detector protects doors and windows against burglary, breaking through, drilling and opening. It employs tamper devices to signal removal and case opening attempts of the sensor.
Unlike FDR1 model, calibration and configuration of the detector are performed via DIP switches through which it is possible to select one of the three default calibrations according to EN 50131-2-8 (window, wood and concrete) or to fine-tune the parameters related to the single attack modes (burglary, breaking through and cutting/drilling) or the sensor operation.
Key benefits

THE SERVICE APP
Detectors SN-SPCP-FDR1, SN-SPCP-FDR1M and SN-SPCP-FWL are equipped with a service app, which can be downloaded free of charge for iOS and Android mobile devices; this app enables you to configure and calibrate the detectors in a centralized way, using a Wi-Fi connection. Once connected, the app automatically recognizes the sensor model and displays the related configuration tools.
More deeply, referring to FDR1(M) sensor, by app you can calibrate the sensor by selecting one of the three default configurations (window, wood and concrete, as per standard EN 50131-2-8) or performing a custom calibration. In this last case it is possible to create a custom configuration and set, for each type of attack (low attacks, gross attacks and continuous vibrations), the following parameters:
- the detection sensitivity (adjustable for breaking through events, as well);
- the number of events triggering the alarm;
- the event reset time between one count and another;
- the coupling, the PIEZO/MEMS ratio coefficient.
By app it is also possible to:
- calibrate the magnetic sensor (SN-XS-FDRM sensor only);
- view in real-time the signal strength and the event counting;
- activate/deactivate the status LED and configure its behaviour;
- recognize the specific alarm event thanks to the explicative graphic icons.
